I believe that the world is complex but not complicated.
As we fall into fall, the leaves change color. I was walking in Crapo Park when I found this incredible leaf. I see four small green leaves on it. I am curious about photosynthesis and how it fuels activity.
October is health literacy month. As we step into harvest, we sense the shift in the air. Pumpkins are flourishing. Health during autumn represents the metal element. We can jump in the leaves, nourish yin, refresh our goals, and support our lungs. Foods like apples, cinnamon, root vegetables, and whole grains are available.
With so much information out there, how can you receive information and take action? My suggestion is looking into the STOP - LESS - KEEP - MORE - START exercise. What do you want to stop doing? What do you want less of? What in your life do you want to keep? What do you want more of? What do you want to start?
If five categories are too many, pick one category and go from there. What fuels your activity or stillness?
Bright Blessings,
Amy
