Our world is fast paced and the distractions are endless.
We always have a choice. Even not making a choice is a choice. Like I taught my students the other day, research is organized curiosity. I love research because I believe that proper structure and a disciplined mind will take you far. When approaching a new concept or topic I always want to know what my options are.
Then I ask questions. What is distracting you from your current goals? How can you slow down? It is possible that a lesson will be repeated until it is learned or what you resist persists.
My advice if you want to focus more is to stay connected to quality sources and grounded in reality. Also be consistent with action.
Suggested tips to increase your concentration and focus better.
Eat healthy foods
Eliminate distractions
Exercise regularly
Rest and recharge
Schedule and to be list instead of to do list
Stillness (mindfulness)
Take breaks to refresh
Your well-being matters.
In light,
Amy
